My speaker died but not me

I'm still frustrated about what happen to my speaker and she is now on display (served his second purpose). I want to buy a new one but to my dismay, portable speakers now cost 3x her price... My dear manufacturer, what are you thinking, did you replace copper wires to gold ones? prices are freaking beyond my normal and tolerable budget for a decent speaker like my creative. 

Then my journey begins in finding my fair fit speaker to have that will last more than 5 years than my creative... and this time... yeah, NO BORROWING! (I'm not what you think I am, but I am not a wealthy person to have the luxury of replacing things every now and then... I'm just being prank about my budget limitation.) so be it. 

If you guys know some good speakers around there, please tag me with the price. I'll be more than glad reading your post below. ciao!
